About Us

Our Club

As Southwest Florida's largest Mustang car club with members totaling in excess of 100, we presently have members from Sarasota, Charlotte, Lee and Collier counties. Ponies In Paradise has members who own cars running in age from the original 1964 1/2 through the current model year. Whether it be a standard Mustang coupe or convertible, Roush, Saleen, Shelby or custom, chances are that one of our club members owns one, or more.

We all share the same philosophy that these cars are meant to be driven. And believe me, they are! Unlike many other car clubs, Ponies In Paradise has activities and events planned throughout the entire 12 month  year. Let me list just a few of the things we like to do as a club:

 •Monthly club meetings/brunch
•Cruise Ins
•Car Shows
•Weekend Getaways
•Parades
•Mystery Cruises
•Tech Sessions

Although many of our activities are local, we enjoy venturing throughout the state of Florida and also to other states. Last year some members drove from the Ft Myers/Naples area to the Annual Sturgis Mustang Rally in Sturgis, South Dakota. 14 states in 20+ days. Now, that was some trip! We always encourage our members to make suggestions for club events. After all, this is your club, so let's do things that you want to do.

Monthly brunch meetings are held at KJ's Fresh Grill, 10950 S. Cleveland Ave, Fort Myers. Just south of Boy Scout Rd and 41. The brunch begins at 11:30am on the 4th Sunday of each month. Come early, park the Stang out front and enjoy each others company before the meeting.

Presently Ponies In Paradise proudly sponsors and supports the Harry Chapin Food Bank http://www.harrychapinfoodbank.org/, . Their untiring efforts make it possible to allow those less fortunate to be able to obtain basic food necessities in order to maintain a healthy daily diet.
We are all a supporter of the "Horse of Destiny Foundation" who's mission is a non-profit organization run by volunteers created to receive, administer, and distribute funds for the purpose of reviving and rebuilding the spirit of individuals experiencing physical or emotional pain in accordance with Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended.  No part of the net earnings of the Corporation shall inure to the benefit of, or be distributable to its directors, officers or other private persons. http://horseofdestinyfoundation.org/index1.htm

Tamiami Ford, LA Insurance Group, and American Muscle, are three major sponsors of Ponies In Paradise and we welcome them and thank them for their assistance with making our club a success.  We are constantly working hard to bring you a fabulous new and refreshing website to enjoy. Please continue to check back often as we work to expand and improve our website.

We are presently on Facebook, so please check us out and like us at www.facebook.com/poniesinparadise.
